Volunteering

We are looking for volunteers interested in interpretive art, photography, fundraising, grant writing, public relations, event planning, historical research, and environmental education. We request your help with trail maintenance and guiding. Please consider joining us.

There are several ways to support Happel’s Meadow. Join our volunteer Committee members and attend monthly meetings held on the 2nd Monday of each month. Become involved in an existing project or start your own. You will contribute to our continuing efforts to preserve and interpret Happel’s Meadow and the surrounding area.

Be part of the various committees the Happel’s Meadow Wetland Preserve offers. Are you an energetic person? Are you an engineer? Do you like to socialize and talk about fungi? Are you great with people? Are you good with fundraising and getting donations? If so, the Meadow has several committees that range from Facilities to Memberships. If you have strong communication skills and marketing skills, the Meadow is looking for you. The time commitment for these committees ranges from meeting once a month to meeting as needed when projects are being undertaken.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer or attending a meeting, please email happelsmeadow@gmail.com for more details.
